The second collaboration between revered sneaker boutique UNDEFEATED, or UNDFTD, and established Japanese streetwear brand BAPE is finally here in the form of the Superstar 80v silhouette. The preceding collaboration materialised in the ZX 5000 and Campus 80s that primarily drew upon BAPE’s trademarked “1st Camo” camouflage pattern, hence the predominantly olive green colour palette. This time, the adidas Consortium Superstar 80v UNDFTD x BAPE sees them venturing to a more subtle design approach, allowing the unique details to shine through. The sneakers in this partnership come in two colourways, namely black with grey camo print and white with blue camo pattern — both versions are accented with gold emblems of each brand, giving an overall effect of a sleek and refined footwear that’s suited for contemporary tastes.
