We stumbled upon Tisha Cherry’s Instagram page while we were haphazardly scrolling through the ‘Discover People’ tab. A lot more scrolling ensued when we got to her page and consequently we decided, “Hey, let’s share this with our readers.” So, here’s her #ArtsintheEats series that consists of portraits and recreations of famous paintings via the media of frosting, meat juices, coffee, and other liquid pigments. The first few posts show much of her skill in crafting iconic imagery on a small piece of Oreo cookie, but scrolling farther, you’d find that she’s really into making portraits of r’n’b and hip hop icons (she particularly has a predilection for the Wu Tang Clan).
