The fifth year installment of the JUICE DJ Quest once again featured the best of local deck talent throwing down smoking musical monsterism at Zouk in a quest to determine who was the best and brightest new music playing person in Singapore. This year’s finalists featured DJs from a wide spectrum of electronic music genres, from the basic four-four beats of house music (DJ Debbie Chia) to the harder sounds of Chicago and Detroit (DJ Soulja) to the soulful glitch of broken beats and jazz (DJ Saiful Idris), and last but not least, the rolling assault of drum and bass (Christian Li). And the winner is.. DJ Soulja! Compliments from the judges for his good track programming, tight mixing and steady set build-up. Congrats DJ Soulja! See you next year, biatches.
