Released just last night, we didn’t get to include ‘Violet Dreams’ in our Soundcloud round-off last week, but it’s nevertheless a highlight of this fledgling producer’s growth. Alpha Draconis’ appropriation of Junji Ito’s art is apt — like the rest of his oeuvre thus far, the track is brimming with subtly creepy witch house vibes. Incorporating adroit use of 808 kick drums and triple-time hi-hats layered over lush synthesisers and catchy keys, all that is missing is pitched-down vocals.
