The past few months have been nothing short of a wild ride for the barely legal Australian producer — and to think that we first heard this track before the wheels started rolling in Wave Racer’s Diplo and Friends mixtape. All in good time though, as Basenji has seemingly solidified his style with this Future Classic release. It showcases everything we love about the Sydneysider — from thick layers of instrumentation to muted overlays as the groove slowly builds with a frenzied crescendo to its climax.
