You may know Christopher Owens from his former band Girls, or his modelling for Saint Laurent, or his past of growing up in a cult — whatever it is, Owens is quite intriguing. As he announced on his website, single ‘Selfish Feelings’ will appear on a forthcoming album which will be his third solo effort. Before that there was the decidedly country rock album A New Testament and it seems that with this track, Owens remains comfortable with that musical route. He sings low and quiet along with a rhythmic guitar — it’s all very Americana.
