It’s 2015 now, and Tenderfist has been around for approximately nine (yes, NINE) years. If the electropop band was a kid, it’d be halfway through pre-pubescence and starting Standard Three today in primary school. Things have been a little quiet on the band front, but Faiq Zamir has been a busy little bee, working on his solo project Half-court over the past month. Expect Tenderfist-style mellow pop-based instrumental dance choons, but with complex orchestration to complement the easy riding melodies from Faiq (‘train ride music’, as he described it on SoundCloud). We think that this project has all the potential in the world, and he’s struck gold with the three little downtempo ditties posted thus far.
