We rarely ever see any act with just one release get as many plays as Mansionair have. Over a million Soundcloud plays in the past few months for their only track have seen them getting signed to CHVRCHES’s label, Goodbye Records, and embark on an Oceanic tour. It’s one of the finest tunes we’ve heard to come out of Australia, and that is saying something. This remix keeps the root vibes of the song together, and even if the breaks are different (the best part of the original in our opinion), Brit producer Maths Time Joy still does the trick, with colourful percussions and a chilled overlay the whole way through. Mansionair’s debut EP will drop Friday 10 October ’14 with remixes from Maths Time Joy, LCAW, and The Range.
