VIDEO: The Luyas Illustrate What Happens When We Don’t Make Money in Their ‘Self-Unemployed’ Music Video

The Luyas’ latest music video explores the lives of three individuals whose idea of being productive involves playing with cats, drinking numerous glasses of wine, and lounging in various rooms of the house — sounds like the perfect day except we have a shit tonne of bills to pay, so we can’t afford luxuries like that just yet.

Harsh financial reality aside, ‘Self-Unemployed’ is part of Candian rock band’s The Luyas’ fourth studio album entitled Human Voicing, which is scheduled for release in three weeks. If we were to assume the overall sound of the album using this single, fans can expect an almost garage-esque rock sound á la Garbage meets The Kills. We dig it.
