Future Music Festival Asia 2014’s First Class VIP tent, presented by Chivas, was a whole other festival on its own. Existing in its own world while the dance revelry was happening outside, the VIP tent gave punters more of a clubbing experience in lieu of an outdoor rave (albeit brighter, of course). While the main stage that housed deadmau5 on Day 1 and Armin van Buuren on Day 2 had all the international acts, the local DJs that spun at the tent were no slouch either, as evident by the amount of peeps on the dancefloor.

That fact alone separates it from the usual happenings at other festivals’ VIP areas, where guests are more likely to sit sedentary. It could be the Chivas offered at the VIP tent though, we knew we were all that more willing to move to the tunes dropped by the likes of DJ Faith and Tenzin once there was some liquid courage to aid our feet. But don’t construe that wrongly, JHIN & HypeEmBeats gave one of the tighter sets on Day 2, on which date some of us actually decided to spend more time in the VIP tent!

The First Class VIP tent also featured Victor Trixter, Double E, Breaking Diamonds, Miro, Munky, and DJ Rosh.
